Seward Park Bears Varsity Blows Away Automotive By 19 Runs

       Seward Park Bears Varsity asserted their will over Automotive on their way to an easy 20-1 victory

       Automotive got on the board in the first inning. Erick Tavarez singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

       Seward Park Bears Varsity notched nine runs in the second inning. Jeremy Casso-Garcia, Jesus Ortega, Randy Olmeda, Andrew Almonte, Edelmar Ferreria, and Angel Viera all drove in runs in the frame.

       Ortega led things off on the rubber for Seward Park Bears Varsity. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out nine and walking one.

      Maycol Naves Reyes toed the rubber for Automotive. He lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing two hits and 12 runs while striking out three. Jose Fernandez threw two and a third innings out of the bullpen.

     Casso-Garcia, Jabel Alcantara, and Viera each collected one hit to lead Seward Park Bears Varsity. Seward Park Bears Varsity was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Viera made the most plays with ten.
